CHRONICLES OF THE GALAXY

The reborn of Juakin PLC Walker

In the final days of the Old Republic, before the shadow of the Empire loomed over the galaxy, a little-known Jedi, Knight Juakin PLC Walker, roamed the Outer Rim in his ship, The Millennial Piston. Juakin was not a hero of grand battles nor a name whispered in the halls of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. His skills were not deeply tied to the Force; instead, they were far more connected to industrial cybersecurity.

In recent years, a group known as Shadow Iron had risen from the underbelly of Nar Shaddaa. This network of cybercriminals, led by a mysterious slicer known only as "The Silent Blackout" manipulated production data, sabotaged planetary defense systems, and stole Republic secrets to sell to the highest bidder. Their attacks were silent, invisible, but devastating. Entire planets had fallen into anarchy following economic collapses and massive blackouts orchestrated by Shadow Iron.

The Jedi High Council, preoccupied with political tensions and rumors of a rising Sith power, paid little attention to these digital threats. But Juakin, who had grown up on an industrial world where droids and networks were the lifeblood, understood the danger. His master's teachings had shown him that the Force flowed not only through living beings but also through the patterns of creation, including machines. Armed with his green lightsaber (laser sword) and a modified datapad , Juakin became a hunter of digital shadows.

Our hero's story begins on Ryloth, a desert planet where the twi'leks struggled to maintain their independence. Shadow Iron had infiltrated the primary energy systems, disabling the protective devices controlling transformers. This left local communities on the brink of chaos, defenseless against potential attacks from Imperial ships.

Juakin arrived in his ship, landing in a remote village under the scorching twin suns. The Twi'leks, wary at first, explained how their distribution systems had been sabotaged: security domes malfunctioned, and electrical distribution systems faced constant disruption.

Gathering the necessary information to understand the infrastructure, Juakin connected his datapad to the local network, closed his eyes, and let the Force guide his fingers across the controls. To him, lines of code were like rivers of energy, and within their flow, he detected anomalies: code injections, potential XSS, CORS vulnerabilities, and denial-of-service exploits. "The Silent Blackout is here," he murmured.

The Millennial Piston

After analyzing these vulnerabilities, Juakin discovered that the cybercriminals had exploited a series of zero-day vulnerabilities known only to them, leaving the Twi'leks at their mercy. To counter this, Juakin contacted the Hoojibs , an energy-absorbing species from Arbra who supplied many planets with devices to protect transformers and autotransformers. With their collaboration, the Hoojibs developed a new firmware version that Juakin could deploy to patch the vulnerabilities.

After this feat, Juakin did not return to Coruscant for praise, but he did report all the information to prevent such attacks on other planets loyal to the Old Republic. Here is the message sent through the encrypted Jedi channel:

Solution

Vulnerabilities have been fixed by the Hoojibs in the firmware release:

  • 0.10.0-0C08 y 0.10.0-0D00 for the vulnerability CVE-2025-41361

  • For the rest of the vulnerabilities.

Deep within, Juakin knew that Shadow Iron would regroup, and that The Silent Blackout remained at large. With his ship repaired by a droid trasgu, DAV-25, Juakin set off for the next planet, following rumors of a new digital attack. His life was solitary, but he didn’t mind. The Force showed him the way, and as long as data flowed, he would be there to protect the galaxy.

In the far reaches of the galaxy, where data flows like rivers of steel, Juakin PLC Walker, aboard The Millennial Piston, continues his fight against cybercriminals, safeguarding the digital gears of the Republic with the Force as his shield and code as his saber.

May weakness fade and resilience be with you.
